Tamaki Having An S/O With Family/Trust Issues
His feelings on your family
He hates to hear this. He hates so much that you had to suffer because of your family.
“My love.. I hope you come to see you never deserved this kind of treatment.”
Once he discovers this, he may resent your family.
While he will speak to them kindly and respectfully if he sees them, as he does with everyone, he will always express his distaste for them to you after meeting.
“I can’t help but to resent them for what they’ve done to you, my sweet.”
His feelings on your trust issues
This one is a little hard for him.
While he understands, and obviously wants to help, he is very trusting of you. He wants your trust just as much in return.
“I just.. want you to trust me.”
You’ll have to explain to him very carefully (and it will take a while) why it’s difficult for you to trust.
Once he’s had time to think about it, he makes it a point to reassure you several times every single day that he loves you.
He will walk past you, give you a gentle kiss on the cheek, and say, “I love you, princess. Always.” Or, “I’m not going anywhere, love. Ever.”
He will always say something make you know that he loves you, you’re safe, and he’s not going to leave.
His feelings about you cussing
He will really want you to try and change that for the better.
“I understand that this stems from your past. But please, my love.. try to be more careful.”
In reality, he doesn’t want you to do it at all. But he tries finding excuses to make you less upset about his feelings towards it.
“I love you just as you are! But.. we shouldn’t swear so much in front of Honey-Senpai.”
He will scold you every time you swear and will “shush” you.
Will cover Honey’s ears and give you a grouchy look.
In private he doesn’t mind your language AS much, but he would still prefer you to try and hold your tongue.
Will probably make you have a swear jar honestly.
He will sigh disappointingly and hold the jar out to you. “Another one..”

Firstly, he would try to understand it.
“My love.. what ails you so?”
He would try to understand YOUR depression specifically. He knows it can be different for everyone.
Like if you take it in spells, or if you’re depressed all the time. If you become silent, or if you cry the whole time, or if you’re seemingly exhausted all the time from the battle within your own mind. Whether it stemmed from your past or was just something that happened recently.
He wants to know everything.
He will sit you down and have a long talk with you about it, holding you the whole time.
“Tell me everything, dear.”

Once he understood, he would begin trying to do things to make you feel better!
He would try his absolute HARDEST to make you smile. No matter what, he would do silly/romantic things to make you smile.
Taking you to the park, buying you flowers and jewelry, taking you to dinner, making goofy faces. You name it, he’s done it!
“Seeing your face light up is the reason I try so hard. Your smile is everything to me.”
When he sees you begin to smile.. he just finds his happiness.
“Your smile makes me smile!”

Even when those things aren’t enough, and you’re in a VERY bad emotional state he still is there for you.
If you’re bawling your eyes out, he will still be there.
“I feel my heart aching when I see you in such sorrow..”
If you’re sad, he’s sad too. He feels everything you feel because he loves you so much.
He will do whatever you need him to. Whether it be holding you, kissing you, or just being nearby. He will be right there.
He will want to suggest a bath once you have finished crying.
“Let me wash away all those bad feelings, okay?”
He will bathe you and wash you all over, wiping your tears away if they still fall.
He will dress you in comfortable clothing and lay with you in bed. He will put on some peaceful music and hold you close to him.
“I’ll stay here. Right here. Until you feel better, my love.”

Also, he will always want someone to keep an eye on you.
If it cannot be him for whatever reason, he will always make sure one of the other club members is keeping an eye on you!
“I don’t want anything bad to happen to my princess!”
He doesn’t want you to end up doing something terrible to yourself.
He feels especially better when Honey-Senpai is watching over you, because well, he’s very good at keeping you cheerful and in a good mood!
